04/07 – Locations around Kent were used in the Eastenders Easter Monday special.

Kent Filming Locations: St. Giles Church, Wormshill, The Ringlestone Inn, Nr. Harrietsham and Court Lodge Farm in Stansted, Kent.

Kent was visited by members of the cast and crew of Eastenders back in January.

Scenes for the Easter Monday episode were shot in St. Giles Church in Wormshill, The Ringlestone Inn near Harrietsham, and Court Lodge Farm in Stansted, Kent.

Dot (June Brown)  and Jim Branning (John Bardon) were in Kent filming  the Eastender’s Easter special. June Brown is no stranger to Kent, she has links with Folkestone, where she has lived in the past.

The Kent Film Office was at one of the locations and took these pictures of Dot and Jim and the scenery at Stansted, Kent.

Obviously the storyline is top secret so we can’t give anything away. All that can be said is that Dot makes a surprising discovery.
You will have to tune into BBC 1 on Monday 9th April at 8pm to find out what she discovers.
