Wonderful Creative Agency based in Maidstone was the 2010 winner of the Creative Industries Award at The Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA) .
The award for creative industries is sponsored by the Kent Film Office and given on an annual basis to a business that is innovative and successful. The award is also given in recognition of Wonderful Creative ‘s support of the county in terms of working with local companies , using local suppliers as well as profiling Kent’s creative community to the wider sector.
This year the awards were held in Chatham Historic Dockyard where Dan Maudhub, the creator of Wonderful Creative Agency received the award from Tanya Oliver, Director of Strategic Development and Public access at KCC. Dan Maudhub was also short listed as a finalist for this year’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year award .
Wonderful Creative Agency creates a wide range of products such as iPhone applications, online advertising banners and cinema advertisements and is a successful company with clients that include Mitie, Rentokil and Tesco. Wonderful Creative Agency also works towards helping local Kent charities such as Demelza House, a hospice for children, and is currently working towards a £20,000 fundraising target for the charity.
