A second series of this hit documentary series charts the work of the elite teams that patrol the English Channel.
This eight-part series follows the work of the teams that patrol the world’s busiest waterway ” the English Channel. There’s high drama as cameras follow the activity of the Coastguard Agency, the RNLI, RAF and Navy rescue crews and the UK Border Agency along the Channel coastline from Dover to Lands End.
Dover is home to UK’s busiest passenger port – The Port of Dover, the glorious Dover Castle and the infamous White Cliffs of Dover. The Dover area has been used for filming by productions including Marcella (2016), Wolf Hall (2015) and Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows (2011).
Sea Patrol, UK will be shown on National Geographic Channel at 9pm on Mondays from 12 July and on Five later in the year.
