The crew visited The Isle of Sheppey and filmed in various locations in Sheerness, including the beach, promenade and high street.

Coming Up is now in its eleventh year, and previous participants have shot to success including Nicole Taylor who showcased ‘Emo’ in 2008 and went on to write popular shows such as Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Ashes to Ashes and recently Scott and Bailey.

Sheerness is the principal town of The Isle of Sheppey and has a heritage formed by it’s industrial port as well as it’s  beaches, drawing many summer visitors to the island. Previous productions that have filmed in the area include Top Gear The Sweeney (2012), Our Food (2012) and The Hide (2009).

Coming Up – ‘Ben and Lump’ is the second short film and will be shown on Monday 9th July 2012 on Channel 4 at 23:05.
