Kent Locations Used: The Who’d a Thought It, Grafty Green
The Hotel Inspector, Alex Polizzi, returns to The Who’d a Thought It in Grafty Green to see the outcome of the changes she suggested a couple of years ago – will her advice have stuck?
As well as offering accommodation, The Who’d a Thought It has a champagne and oyster bar, pub and restaurant and when business was dwindling, the owners bought in The Hotel Inspector in 2011.
Alex learnt how self-styled showman Joe left his London casino job with the hope of bringing some city style to the Kent countryside. However, with the hotels decor including cowhide bedspreads, four-man hot tubs and erotic artwork, Alex was unimpressed and tried to convince Joe to make the hotel more ‘female friendly’, but when she returned in June 2013 had Joe embraced the changes?
Don’t miss The Who’d a Thought It episode of The Hotel Inspector which will be shown on Thursday 1st August 2013 at 21:00 on Channel 5.
