The Kent Film Awards return as part of the 6th annual Swale Film Festival, with entries open to young people across Kent, so get creative and make an award winning short film.

The competition is open to individuals and groups with the winning films earning a Kent Film Award Trophy and a certificate as well as a visit to a film production being made on location!

Entries will be judged by a panel of filmmakers who will be looking at all aspects of the production including the script, camera and sound, design, make up, editing and the ability of the performing artists.

The deadline to submit your entries is Monday 8th September 2014.

This year’s Swale Film Festival will take place from 19th to 21st September 2014 with screenings of blockbusters and local films. The Kent Film Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday 21st September at the Avenue Theatre in Sittingbourne.
