Kent festival Anifest running a Logo Design Competition!

The South East’s only annual animation festival, Anifest is running a competition for a logo design based around this year’s theme of “Manga” so if you are from Kent and have a design talent, get creative and make us a logo!

Prizes include tickets to the festival in October, work experience or mentoring with a Kent based design company and a one year GulbCard giving discounts on cinema and theatre performance and selected drinks at The Gulbenkian , worth up to £25! In addition to this, the winner will see their work published on all 2014 festival marketing materials.

Entries for the logo design competition are open on Wednesday 11th June 2014 and closing at midnight on Friday 4th July 2014.

The logo should capture 2014’s festival theme of Manga.

The competition is open to individuals of any age and businesses based in Kent. All designs should be original and clearly say Anifest. A maximum of 3 logos can be submitted per person.

Anifest has been running in Canterbury since 2007 and brings together international speakers, animation master classes, film screenings, and the Anifest Awards. High profile speakers from animation studios including Pixar Animation Studios, DreamWorks Animation and Aardman Studios have previously been welcomed by the festival.

2014 sees a new partnership developing the festival – The Gulbenkian and Canterbury Christ Church University, with confirmed support from Canterbury City Council and Kent County Council.
