Information regarding the Kent Film and Television Board
In December 2006, the Kent Film Office invited key industry and industry related persons from Kent to act as advocates and ambassadors to help encourage more film and television productions to locate in Kent for the economic benefits to the county. These persons formed The Kent Film and Television Board. The board also helps the Kent Film Office to stay abreast of industry requirements and how best to support local professionals and businesses.
In board membership, we have aimed to include representatives from all areas within the film and broadcast industries, whenever we were able to recruit a candidate of sufficient standing who resides in Kent and is passionate about the county. The board aims to meet annually and all board members volunteer their time without receiving any renumeration.
