The Kent Film Office is your first port of call for productions thinking about filming in Kent. We can offer you assistance finding locations and also seek permission from the relevant authorities for your filming in public areas.

Kent County Council can close sections of the public highway for the purposes of filming. If you would like further information about this, please visit our highways filming page.

We work together with various partners to ensure that Kent is a film friendly county. Please see our Kent Filming Partnership pages for further information.

If you will be filming children under the age of 16, you may need a child licence – please see our filming children page for details.

Our contacts page has useful information including hospitals in Kent and various organisations.
