Currently in its 50th series, the popular live music show Later… with Jools Holland features performances from legendary musicians as well as new up and coming acts from all around the world.

The show is broadcast live on Tuesdays nights at 22:00, with a longer show being shown on Friday nights.

This series has included performances from some of the leading artists in the music industry including Ed Sheeran, Kasabian and Stormzy.

The programme first aired in 1992 and is a major hit in the UK, as well as America and various European countries.

The Maidstone Studios is an independent TV studio complex on an 11 acre site with 5 television studios, dubbing facilities, edits suites, a fully saturated lighting grid and office space. The Maidstone Studios has previously welcome shows such as Draw It! (2014), Was It Something I Said? (2013) and Got to Dance (2010).

Later… with Jools Holland is on BBC Two at 22:00 on Tuesday 16th May 2017 and repeated on Friday 19th May 2017 on BBC Two at 23.05.

Returning for its 46th series, the popular live music show Later… with Jools Holland features performances from legendary musicians as well as new up and coming acts from all around the world.

The show is broadcast live on Tuesdays nights at 22:00, with a longer show being shown on Friday nights. The first episode of this new series features Blur who are making a welcomed return after an absence of 15 years from the show. They will be performing tracks from their upcoming album, MagicWhip.

Laura Marling is also joining Jools Holland at the Maidstone Studios with a track from her newest album, Short Movie which sees her inspired by her ongoing journey of self-discovery.

The popular Vaccines return with brand new songs, and all the way from Mali, Songhoy Blues join the fun; a young desert blues punk band whose Malian influences stem from greats such as Ali Farka Toure and Baba Salah to Hendrix.  Mirroring the relaxed tunes from Songhoy, the dynamic Davina and the Vagabonds are also in the studio, with a tune or two from their recent Sunshine album.

The BBC Two late night show is broadcast live on Tuesday nights with a longer show being shown on Friday nights and the first episode of the new series welcomes Alt-J, Ryan Adams, Jungle, Banks, The O’Jays and Vance Joy.

The programme first aired in 1992 and is a major hit in both the UK as well as America and various European countries.

Hit BBC Two music show Later… with Jools Holland enters its 44th series with music from artists such as Coldplay, Elbow, The Black Keys, and many more.  

The late night show features  live performances from legendary musicians as well as brand new acts from around the world. The show first aired in 1992, and while being a British production, is also a major hit in America and various  European countries.  

The first episode of the new series welcomes Elbow, Neneh Cherry, Eagulls, Engelbert Humperdinck, Clean Bandit and Agnes Obel to the stage.

Later…with Jools Holland is the popular BBC2 music show which features a mix of up-coming artists as well as music legends performing live in the studio. The show is in its staggering 43 series and will be filmed at its new home – The Maidstone Studios .

The show first aired in 1992 and has been a success ever since. It is hosted by musician and television presenter Jools Holland and sees a whole range of musical guests from different genres and styles. Each show includes several performances, exclusive interviews, and a short jam session with Holland on piano to open each episode.

Although an entirely British show, Later…with Jools Holland has made it big in many other European countries as well as America.

The first episode of the new series will have performances from Suede, Laura Mvula, Cat Power, and The Strypes.

The Maidstone Studios is set over an 11 acre site and boasts 5 studios, a sound stage, post production facilities, storage and over 400 free parking spaces. Hit shows such as Take Me Out The Biggest Loser (2012) and Got to Dance (2010)  have previously been recorded at The Maidstone Studios.

Don’t miss the new series of Later…with Jools Holland which will be airing live for eight weeks on Tuesday nights from 9th April 2013 on BBC2 at 22:00.
