Production Company: RawCut TV
Kent Filming Locations: Isle of Sheppey
Cameras follow police teams as they try to deal with a wide range of issues affecting communities. Episodes include a crack-down on public drinking and anti-social behaviour, an operation to tackle stolen goods, tracking down a man on the run and stepping up patrols on street corners.
The police teams also come to the rescue of a landlady calling for help and discover a baby in danger.
Most of the filming took part on the Isle of Sheppey, thought to be representative of many coastal communities in Britain.
Neighbourhood Blues is shown on BBC One
