A unique and quirky design company scoops this year’s Creative Industries Award.
Tanya Oliver, Head of Strategic Development Unit at Kent County Council and Chief Judge said ‘Bussroot truly had that ‘gold dust’ factor that we were looking for in our entrants. An innovative, as well as a creative company, Bussroot demonstrated that they had a real commitment to the county and have the energy and drive to continue to achieve great things in their field.’
Founded in 2000, Bussroot Ltd. has gone from strength to strength. In the past year they have taken on some very interesting commissions, not only from Kent but around the globe. A recent project involved the transformation of an LA hospital lounge for children into a fantasy world with inspiration drawn from the Bluebell Railway.
Anna- Marie, Director of Bussroot Ltd., said ‘I have always believed that it is imperative for everyone in business to have a strong vision. The Bussroot vision is to be recognised for our creativity – oh and also to become the most exciting and creative graphic design company in the world of course! So to have won the Creative Industry Award not only makes our dream become a reality, but it is proof that we must be getting it right, and is a true mark of achievement.’
Congratulations to our winners Bussroot!
The Kent Film Office would also like to extend their congratulations to this year’s finalists Courtyard Studios, Year One Consulting and Surin Restaurant who made this year’s competition both interesting and extremely difficult to judge!
