Davina McCall presents Sky One’s Dance Show

Got To Dance is set to be the UK’s biggest national dance competition and will presented by the charming Davina McCall. The brand new entertainment show will uncover some of the best dance talent in the search to find the UK’s finest!

The series kicks off with thousands of dancers up and down the UK auditioning in front of the Got to Dance judges in hope of being chosen for the live shows. Ninety-eight groups and solo artists have already made the shortlist, but only 18 will compete in the live semi-finals broadcasted from The Maidstone Studios.

Davina, a massive dance fan herself, will be joined by an all star celebrity panel including Ashley Banjo, (Diversity lead choreographer), Kimberly Wyatt (Pussycat Doll) and Adam Garcia (Coyote Ugly and West End star).

The exciting new show will launch 3 January 2010 with the best clips from the UK auditions with the live finals exploding on to our screens from the 24 January. The winning dancer/s will be voted for by the general public.

The Maidstone Studios is home to a varied selection of British television programming including Trisha Goddard and Dale’s Supermarket Sweep. Positioned just one hour from central London, the established television studios are an excellent base for this eagerly anticipated dance show.
