Kent Locations:  The Goods Shed, Canterbury

Join the stall-holders, artisans and chefs working within Canterbury’s renowned farmer’s market, The Goods Shed, for one magical day in their extraordinary lives.

Kent-based television director and writer, Tim Leandro, and a group of dedicated high-end industry film makers have come together to tell a modern Canterbury tale.

Two-time BAFTA nominee Leandro, whose film making roots are firmly planted in documentary film, was inspired by the micro-community that work, create and live in Canterbury’s famous The Goods Shed farmer’s market and restaurant. The 35 minute film concentrates on the personal stories of the individuals whose lives are intertwined in The Goods Shed

Leandro said; “This film is classic documentary with a twist.  I am very fortunate in that a group of highly talented collaborators worked with me for no fee to make it happen.   It’s a zero budget film and has taken over a year to complete because we had to fit it around our working schedules, but the effort has been well worth it”.

From Soup to Nuts is being broadcast throughout July on The Community Channel (Sky 539,  Virgin 233 and Freeview 87):
