Anifest is the only animation festival that takes place annually in the South East, showcasing well known animators and their creations to visitors, and allowing them to get involved themselves! This year is the biggest line up, so get your tickets now.

The festival offers screenings, talks, master classes and events that will appeal to people of all types and ages, whether you’re part of a family group with children, an aspiring filmmaker yourself or an industry expert.

Now in its sixth year, 2013 is the longest festival yet, running for 6 days from 30th September – 5th October.

The masterclasses are from Jim Parkyn at Aardman Animations about Making Shaun the Sheep, Double Negative’s Robin Konieczny (Man of Steel) about Matte Painting, Benedict Lewis (Horrid Henry) about Storyboarding For Animation. 

This year, the organisers of Anifest, Animate and Create Studios, will also be hosting a free exhibition at Canterbury’s Beaney House of Art and Knowledge, where you can find out how animations are produced and even contribute to an animated film about The Beaney.
