Canterbury University Film Festival is a unique film festival for the students of Canterbury’s universities that are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join their growing team!
Canterbury University Film Festival, or CUFF, was established in 2014 as a platform for students from the University of Kent, Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Creative Arts to showcase their filmmaking talent. Spread over two days in March 2017, Canterbury University Film Festival shows a variety of different films, culminating in an awards ceremony to recognise the best work. As well as a celebration of great talent, the festival is also an opportunity to learn. Our OFF-The-CUFF fringe events have included workshops, talks on issues in film today, discussions with established filmmakers as well as lighter events such as our film themed poetry evening and awards after party.
With such an eclectic program of events Canterbury University Film Festival need as many people as possible in a variety of departments to help organise, curate and run the festival. You do not need to be studying film to be one of our team members; they are looking for Marketeers, Party Planners, Social media gurus, Photographers, Graphic Designers, Copywriters, Production Assistants, Press Officers, Finance managers and of course, Filmmakers— experience is not necessary. They are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and creative people to join our team in continuing our effort to share the phenomenal film work created by the students of Canterbury.
Even if you don’t know what you’d like to do but you’d like to be involved, the CUFF organisers will be able to find a place for you in the team.
