Killing Eve has already developed a large following in the US where it first aired on BBC America in April this year. The series has been nominated for two Emmy Awards, and its second series is already being filmed as we speak.

Written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Crashing), and directed by Jon East (Downton Abbey, EastEnders), Damon Thomas (Penny Dreadful, Monroe) and Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag, Grantchester), Killing Eve stars Jodie Comer (Doctor Foster, The White Princess) as Villanelle, the fearsome female assassin. Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy, Sideways), Fiona Shaw (The Avengers, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) and Kim Bodnia (Pusher, The Bridge).

The production filmed at Nell’s Café, a popular roadside café off the A2 near Gravesend, as well as the M2 motorway.

Gravesend is on the southern bank of the River Thames and boasts a cast iron pier, promenade and high street as well as international rail links at the nearby Ebbsfleet International station. The Gravesend area has previously welcomed film productions such as Babylon (2014) and Age of Heroes (2011). The Interceptor (2015) also filmed at Nell’s Café.

Killing Eve will air in the UK on Saturday 15th September 2018 on BBC One at 9.15pm and will be available as a box set on BBC iPlayer.
