Axe the Agent? visited Kent to help a home owner sell their house.

Desperate to save on commission fees, home owners turn to presenters Gary McCausland, a property developer by trade, and Jonny Benarr, a former estate agent, for advice on how to attract prospective buyers and entice that elusive offer without the aid of an estate agent.

Buyers are thrown in at the deep end, finding out that selling their property is perhaps harder work than they had originally thought.

In December the programme visited a couple from Sevenoaks to help them to Axe the Agent. Do they find a buyer for their property? Tune in to find out!

Sevenoaks is a town in West Kent with vibrant shopping streets, architectural treats and historic buildings including Knole Park which is nestled in a medieval deer-park and full of hidden treasures.  The Sevenoaks area has been used for filming by productions including Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast (2016), Strawberry Fields (2012) and Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides (2011)

Axe the Agent? is shown on weekdays on BBC One at 10:00 from the 2nd March but watch out for the Kentish couple looking to sell their home on the 18th March!
