All new prime-time game show series The Family Brain Games, follows eight families as they enter into the specially designed Games Lab to compete in a series of challenges. The families’ mental agility will be tested through observation and analysis by neuroscientist. In the grand final, only one family will be crowned winner of The Family Brain Games. Presenting the show is Dara Ó Briain (Mock the Week, The Look of Love).

Production visited Discovery Park in Sandwich, where the set for the Games Lab was built for the series.

Discovery Park is the former headquarters of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer. It offers large office complexes, scientific laboratories, warehouses and plants, and it is located in Sandwich, a town north of Deal on the Stour Estuary. This location has previously hosted productions for Baptiste (2019), The Lost Commando Raid (2018), and The Tunnel: Sabotage (2016).

Episode One of The Family Brain Games will air on BBC Two on Monday 17th June 2019 at 8pm. The eight-part series will be stripped over two weeks, with four episodes airing per week Monday to Thursday.
