Pigman (2024) follows a group of YouTubers who embark on a mission to uncover the mysterious legend of the Pigman at an isolated English farmhouse.
Directed by Louisa Warren (The Ghosts of Borley Rectory, The Leprechaun’s Game), the film stars Ben Silver (Mercy Land) as Carter Bronx, Julia Quayle (Beneath the Surface) as Echo, Will Burren (The Burying Party, Carnage) as Prophet, Francesca Fleur (Legend of Lizard Man) as Stacey, Mollie Hindle-Pérez (The Jack in the Box: Awakening, The Highwayman) as Aimee and Hayley-Marie Axe (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, May I Kill U?) as Karen.
The film was shot entirely in Kent, with locations including Pond Farm, a private farm in Sandwich, Shay Service Station in Sutton Valence and a private house in Boxley in Maidstone.
Situated in Maidstone, Pond Farm sits within a characterful farmyard and 50 acres of traditional grassland fields. The farm includes many quirky features, such as a handful of vintage caravans, old farm implements and hand-built sheds.
Sandwich is an extremely well preserved medieval town, situated on the River Stour, only a couple of miles from the coast. The Tunnel: Sabotage (2016) and The Old Guard (2020) also filmed in Sandwich.
Sutton Valence is a village about 5 miles from Maidstone, on the Greensand Ridge overlooking the Vale of Kent and Weald. On the east side of the village is Sutton Valence castle, of which only the ruins of the 12th century keep remain.
Boxley is a parish in the Maidstone district. The nearby town of Maidstone is a popular filming location and as the county town of Kent and seat of local governance, it plays an important part in Kent’s history. Productions that filmed in Maidstone include Tell That to the Winter Sea (2024), The Last Rite (2021) and Season 2 of This Time with Alan Partridge (2021).
Pigman (2024) was released on Monday 15th July 2024 and is now available to stream on Tubi.
