Based on the novel of the same name, The Woman in Cabin 10 (2025) is a psychological thriller following a journalist covering the maiden voyage of a luxury cruise ship, who witnesses a passenger go overboard, despite all being accounted for.
Directed by Simon Stone (The Daughter, The Dig), the film stars Keira Knightley (Pride and Prejudice (2005), Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl), Hannah Waddingham (Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (2025), Ted Lasso), Guy Pearce (A Spy Among Friends (2022), Genius (2016)), Kaya Scodelario (The Gentlemen (2024), Southcliffe (2013)) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Loki – Season 2 (2023), Summerland (2020)).
Production visited Kent to film at Fairbourne Reservoir East, a private house in Harrietsham, which doubled for the Bullmer’s house in Norway.
Fairbourne Reservoir East is a modern mansion located in the village of Harrietsham, just outside Maidstone. Previous productions to have filmed there include The 355 (2022), Black Mirror: Smithereens (2018) and Black Mirror: Metalhead (2017).
The Woman in Cabin 10 (2025) was released on Netflix on Friday 10th October 2025.
