Pressure (2026) is a war film based on the stage play of the same name. It follows General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Captain James Stagg in the 72 hours before D-Day, as they are forced to make a decision between launching a dangerous invasion or risk losing the war altogether.
The film is directed by Anthony Maras (Hotel Mumbai) and stars Andrew Scott (King Lear (2018), Black Mirror: Season 5 – Smithereens (2019)) as James Stagg, Brendan Fraser (Inkheart (2008), The Mummy (1999)) as Dwight D. Eisenhower, Kerry Condon (F1: The Movie (2025), Dom Hemingway (2013)) as Captain Kay Summersby, Chris Messina (Argo, Away We Go) as Irving P. Krick, Damian Lewis (A Spy Among Friends (2022), Wolf Hall (2015)) as Marshall Bernard Montgomery, Henry Ashton (My Lady Jane (2024), A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms) as John Eisenhower and Con O’Neill (The Batman, Chernobyl) as Marshall Leigh-Mallory.
Production visited Kent to film onboard the submarine HMS Ocelot at The Historic Dockyard Chatham.
The Historic Dockyard Chatham is one of Kent’s most popular filming locations. Set on the River Medway, the Dockyard spans over 80 acres, containing over 100 buildings dating from the Georgian and Victorian periods. Other recent productions to have filmed at the Dockyard include A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story (2025), SAS Rogue Heroes – Series 2 (2025) and The Thursday Murder Club (2025).
Pressure (2026) will be released in UK cinemas on Wednesday 9th September 2026.
