When an unexploded WWII bomb is discovered in the centre of London, the military and police are called in to evacuate the city as chaos ensues.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, wearing full military-style camouflage gear and tactical equipment, is positioned behind a rocky outcrop, holding a compact assault rifle with a mounted optic. He is kneeling and appears to be moving cautiously through a sandy, rugged environment. Sunglasses rest on top of his headgear.

Fuze (2026) is directed by David Mackenzie (Hell or High Water, Outlaw King) and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kraven the Hunter (2024), Kick-Ass), Theo James (The Gentlemen (2024), Divergent), Sam Worthington (Avatar, Clash of the Titans) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (The Woman in Cabin 10 (2025), Loki – Season 2 (2023)).

Filming took place at Wrotham Quarry, which doubles for Afghanistan.

Also known as Olley Sand Pit, Wrotham Quarry produced sand for the glass industry, and in particular to a grade suitable for making coloured glass. It also featured in Doctor Who – The Dominators (1968) and is now part of Ferns Aggregates.

Fuze (2026) will be released in UK cinemas on Friday 3rd April 2026.
