ITV’s Take Me Out returns for an eighth series with Paddy McGuinness hosting the Saturday night dating show in the hope that he can find dates for the “Flirty 30” ladies looking for love.

Single men arrive by the Love Lift and through various rounds, the ladies can turn their lights off if they are no longer interested in them – “No Likey, No Lighty”. Any man who survives with more than one light on, can choose which lady he will take on a date to the Isle of Fernando.

Take Me Out is filmed in Kent at The Maidstone Studios, with spin off show Take Me Out: The Gossip visiting Rochester Castle and Canterbury this series.

The UK’s largest independent HD TV studio facility, The Maidstone Studios boasts 5 studios, a sound stage, post production facilities, storage and plentiful parking. The Maidstone Studios has been the film studio for many popular entertainment shows including  Later…With Jools Holland (2014) and Got To Dance (2010).

Rochester Castle is a 12th Century Castle set in beautiful gardens and overlooks the River Medway. The castle has been used as a film location by The Mystery of Edwin Drood (2012) and Veer (2010).

The vibrant City of Canterbury has a Cathedral, busy shopping areas, parks and open spaces and two universities. The Canterbury area has previously been seen on screen on Terry and Mason’s Great Food Trip (2015), The Apprentice (2014) and A Canterbury Tale (1944).

King of matchmaking, Paddy McGuiness, returns for the sixth series of ITV’s popular dating show Take Me Out, where 30 single ladies are all looking for their dream date on the Isle of Fernando with one of the eligible bachelors that arrive via the Love Lift.

The cheeky show sees four brave bachelor boys trying to impress the Flirty Thirty through various rounds, but with the shows catchphrase being “no likey, no lighty”,  the women turn their lights off when they are no longer interested in the man, and the boys could face a black out which precedes a lone departure to Celine Dion’s All By Myself.

The new series introduces a twist:  the men can choose to opt for a mystery girl based on the sound of her voice.First up are an IT consultant from Leeds, a Birmingham entrepreneur and a music student from Brighton. 

The Maidstone Studios is the UK’s largest independent HD TV studio facility and is based in Maidstone, Kent.  The facility boasts 5 studios, a sound stage, post production facilities, storage and over 400 free parking spaces and has previously played host to productions such as The Split 2020.
