Ganapath (2023) is an upcoming Indian action thriller film directed by Vikas Bahl (Queen, Udta Punjab), and starring Tiger Shroff (Heropanti, A Flying Jatt), Kriti Sanon (Mimi, Dilwale) and Adi Chugh (Shakuntala Devi, Bell Bottom), with a special appearance by Amitabh Bachchan (Black, Pink).
The Ramsgate Harbour Approach Tunnel was temporarily closed to facilitate the filming of a bike chase for the film.
The tunnel is the approach road to the Port of Ramsgate. It is over 800m long and about 9.5 metres wide. Previous productions who have filmed inside the tunnel include The Baby (2022), True Things (2022) and Whitstable Pearl (2021-2022).
Ganapath will be releasing in UK cinemas on Friday 20th October 2023.
