Silo (2023-) is an American sci-fi drama series based on the novel trilogy Wool, Shift, Dust, by Hugh Howey. Set in a dystopian future where the Earth has seemingly become too toxic to support life outside, humans have been forced seek refuge in a giant underground silo with strict rules and regulations.

Created by Graham Yost (Justified, Speed), the series stars Rebecca Ferguson (The Greatest Showman, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) as Juliette Nichols and Common (John Wick: Chapter 2, Wanted) as Robert Sims. Supporting cast includes Chinaza Uche (Dickinson, A Good Person) as Paul Billings, Harriet Walter (Sense and Sensibility, The Young Victoria) as Martha Walker, Tim Robbins (The Shawshank Redemption, Mystic River) as Bernard Holland, Avi Nash (The Walking Dead, Learning to Drive) as Lukas Kyle, Remmie Milner (His Dark Materials, Save Me) as Shirley Campbell, Rick Gomez (Band of Brothers, She Dances) as Patrick Kennedy, Shane McRae (Sneaky Pete, Still Alice) as Knox and Billy Postlethwaite (Chernobyl, The Winter King) as Hank.

Production visited Home Farm in Swale to film scenes for Series 3, including in the kitchen and the surrounding fields.

Situated in Swale, Home Farm is a colonial style weatherboarded villa, with veranda’s overlooking the countryside. Inside, rooms are decorated in a vintage chic style with reclaimed wood floors and chateau doors. The property is particularly popular for photoshoots but has also recently featured in The Amateur (2025), Black Mirror: Season 6 – Beyond the Sea (2023) and Love Again (2023).

Season 3 of Silo (2023-) will be released on Apple TV+ on Friday 3rd July 2026, with episodes following weekly.
