The fourth film in the Marvel Cinema Universe’s Spider-Man film series, Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026) follows Peter Parker as he anonymously protects New York City against a powerful new threat whilst his superpowers begin a dangerous evolution.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Short Term 12), the film stars Tom Holland (The Current War (2019), Spider-Man: Homecoming) as Peter Parker / Spider-Man and Zendaya (The Greatest Showman, Challengers) as MJ. Supporting cast includes Sadie Sink (Stranger Things, The Whale) as Jean Grey, Jacob Batalon (Avengers: Infinity War, Novocaine) as Ned, Jon Bernthal (The Amateur (2025), The Wolf of Wall Street) as Frank Castle / The Punisher, Tramell Tillman (Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Severance) as Bill Metzger, Michael Mando (Better Call Saul, Orphan Black) as Mac Gargan / Scorpion and Mark Ruffalo (Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Spotlight) as Bruce Banner / Hulk.
Production visited Kent to film various scenes at The Historic Dockyard Chatham, including inside Turk’s Boatyard, which doubles for Frank Castle / The Punisher’s home, and HMS Cavalier.
The Historic Dockyard Chatham is one of Kent’s most popular filming locations. Set on the River Medway, the Dockyard spans over 80 acres, containing over 100 buildings dating from the Georgian and Victorian periods. Other recent productions to have filmed at the Dockyard include A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story (2025), Series 2 of SAS Rogue Heroes (2025) and The Thursday Murder Club (2025).
Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026) will be released in UK cinemas on Friday 31st July 2026.
