Gandeevadhari Arjuna (2023) is an Indian Telugu-language film following Arjun Varma, an ex-RAW operative now tasked with protecting the Indian Minister of Environment and Climate Change, who has become the prime target for an assassination by his rival.

Directed by Praveen Sattaru (Chandamama Kathalu, Life Before Wedding), the film stars Varun Tej (Valmiki, Kanche) as Arjun Varma, Sakshi Vaidya (Agent) as Ira, Nassar (Baahubali: The Beginning, Fair Game) as Adityaraj Bahadur, Vinay Rai (Doctor, Etharkkum Thunindhavan) as Ranveer and Vimala Raman (Asvins (2023), Dam999) as Priya Bahadur.

The Pines in Maidstone doubles for Priya’s house in Wembley.

Situated in the village of Bearsted, The Pines is a 5-bedroom contemporary family home set in 1.5 acres of woodland.

Gandeevadhari Arjuna (2023) was released on Netflix on Sunday 24th September 2023.

Mr. Majnu (2019) is an Indian Telugu language rom-com following a charming playboy who finds himself in a spot of bother when he meets The One.

Directed by Venky Atluri (Rang De, Vaathi), the film stars Akhil Akkineni (Akhil, Hello!) as Vikky, Nidhhi Agerwal (Munna Michael, Savyasachi) as Nikky and Izabelle Leite (Sixteen, World Famous Lover) as Margaret.

Canterbury Christ Church University campus, doubled for a college in London. Filming took place on the campus as well as a seminar room and the library at Augustine House..

Based in Canterbury city centre, CCCU’s Augustine House provides state of the art IT facilities, creative learning spaces and access to student services, all under one roof.

Mr. Majnu (2019) was released on Thursday 24th January 2019 and is currently available to stream on YouTube.

Nannaku Prematho (To Father, With Love) (2016)

Nannaku Prematho (2016) is an Indian action film following Abhiram, a devoted son who, upon discovering that his father was ruined by a ruthless businessman many years ago, embarks on a 30-day revenge plan to dismantle his empire and fulfill his father’s dying wish of revenge.

Directed by Sukumar (Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1, Rangasthalam), the film stars N.T. Rama Rao Jr. (RRR, Janatha Garage) as Abhiram, Rakul Preet Singh (Chhatriwali, Loukyam) as Divyanka, Jagapathi Babu (Srimanthudu, Legend) as Krishnamurthy and Rajendra Prasad (Kalki 2898 AD, Aa Naluguru) as Abhiram’s father.

Production visited Kent to film in various locations, including a private house in Dartford which doubles for Abhiram’s father’s home, various streets in Maidstone, Bradbourne House, Ingress Abbey, Spa Valley Railway and The Historic Dockyard Chatham.

Located on the border of Kent, Dartford is a historic market town which boasts one of the largest shopping centres in Europe. Perhaps best known for the Dartford Crossing and Bluewater Shopping Centre, Dartford’s combination of industrial and historical landscapes makes for a popular filming location. Previous productions that have filmed in Dartford include Piggy (2012) and Wasp (2003).

As the county town of Kent and seat of local governance, Maidstone plays an important part in Kent’s history. The River Medway runs through Maidstone’s town centre, which is bustling with many shops, restaurants, bars, churches and a museum. Previous productions to have filmed in Maidstone include Rustom (2016), Missing (2009-2010) and They Came from Somewhere Else (1984).

Bradbourne House is a Queen Anne mansion situated within 20 acres of parkland, with woodland and a lake. Inside, there is a ballroom, conference room, small panelled library, glass greenhouse, converted stables and a cellar. Anti Matter (2017) also features Bradbourne House.

Ingress Abbey is a Jacobean style country house in the hamlet of Greenhithe in Dartford. It has over 50 rooms, including a large dining hall, ballroom, orangery and panelled passages. Ingress Abbey also appears in Poirot – The Kidnapped Prime Minister (1990).

The Spa Valley Railway runs for 3.5 miles through the Kent countryside between Tunbridge Wells and the village of Groombridge. There is also a signal box, ticket office and platform on site.

The Historic Dockyard Chatham is a 17th Century dockyard which spans over 80 acres, containing over 100 buildings from the Georgian and Victorian periods. It is one of the most popular filming locations in Kent, having recently played host to Close to the Enemy (2016), Genius (2016) and Level Up (2016).

Nannaku Prematho (2016) was released on Tuesday 12th January 2016 and is available to stream on Disney Hotstar.
