Based on the 2012 Australian novel of the same name by Daniel O’Malley, this London set show is about a young woman with extraordinary abilities, who is trying to figure out her past while being pursued by paranormal forces.

The show was adapted for the screen by Stephenie Meyer, the author of Twilight, and stars Emma Greenwell (Shameless US, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies), Olivia Munn (The Predator, X-Men: Apocalypse) and Adrian Lester (Mary Queen of Scots, Riviera).

The Port of Dover was used in the series when production filmed inside Cruise Terminal Two, outside quayside and along Cruise Terminal 3 (the Western Harbour Arm). Footage was centred around the principle character taking a ferry from Dover.

The Port of Dover is a cross channel ferry terminal and one of the world’s busiest passenger ports, it has made numerous appearances in movies and TV from films such as Diamonds Are Forever (1971) and Johnny English (2003), to TV shows including The Tunnel (2013) and Marcella (2016).

The series will be available to watch on Starz TV on Sunday 30th June 2019.
